95 year old "Blue Ridge" mentioned in previous posts going from Jacksonville, FL to Walsenburg, Colorado will spend day 6 sitting on a siding at Birmingham,Alabama. Although the car arrived without incident (11_12_09) and hump staff were kind enough to set the car out and not hump it, we were told this morning that the train that would take it to Nashville has already been built and there is no way we will get out of the yard in Birmingham before Saturday.
